About Coach Williams - Ran cross country for St. Joseph Notre Dame High School in Alameda, CA from 1994-1997 ... Was on the teams in 1996 and 1997 that participated in the CIF State Championships ... Captained team in 1997 that took 5th place at State in Division V, which was the best team finish in school history until 2011 ... Became cross country head coach at Skyline High School in Oakland, CA in 1999 ... In 2002, started coaching the Skyline distance girls in track ... Was the meet founder and director of the Skyline Distance Scrimmage in track, which ran from 2003-2007 ... Started coaching the Skyline distance boys and girls in 2005 ... Finished his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mathematics from California State University, East Bay (formerly Hayward) in 2006 ... Was the meet founder and director of the Skyline All-Comers Track & Field Meets and Skyline Distance Fiesta, which both began in 2008 ...
